Three masterful musicians, each a Bay Area treasure, combine their remarkable talents to delve deep into the rich musical traditions of the American South, from the hills to the hollers, from bluegrass to blues, embracing Appalachian and African American roots music in all its power, emotion, and beauty. With a brand new album and a recent performance at Canada’s premier event for traditional music, the Edmonton Folk Festival, this glorious trio is mesmerizing audiences with gorgeous three-part harmonies, stellar musicianship, and soulful performances of both traditional and original music of the South. “Hills to Hollers offers up a great richness of song, reminding us that America’s musical legacy is far deeper and more diverse than today’s pop charts,” says the Napa Valley Register.

Through stick, song, dance and story, the CHC transports the audience to a place in time when the roots of American popular music, were just being sewn by the "involuntary immigrants" from Africa's western regions.

Both these CD’s were made with “little people” in mind and have been used by teachers all over the U.S. as teaching aids.
